Mark J. Leonardo - Founder, show
For the past twenty years, Mr. Leonardo has successfully tried cases in front of judges, juries, and arbitrators in the areas of Employment, Real Estate, Personal Injury, and Business Law.
He has taken on major celebrities, including the much publicized sexual harassment case against Elizabeth Taylor and her butler. Many of Mr. Leonardo’s cases have been featured on television programs such as “Celebrity Justice” and on MSNBC.
Mr. Leonardo also has extensive civil litigation experience in personal injury matters including auto accidents, slip and fall cases, assault and battery cases, defamation, and pharmacy and medical malpractice cases. He also has significant experience in real estate litigation, landlord/tenant law, and business litigation including breach of contract cases, fraud, unfair competition and collection cases. In all of these areas he has represented both Plaintiffs and Defendants.
Mr. Leonardo also has significant experience in transactional matters including drafting contracts, reviewing real estate transactions, negotiating, drafting and revising residential and commercial leases, among other business transactions.
Mr. Leonardo has experience in all levels of the court system including Small Claims Court and Small Claims Appeals, the California Superior Court (both limited and unlimited jurisidiction), the California Court of Appeals and the California Supreme Court.
During law school Mr. Leonardo had three significant internships. His first was working for the Veteran's Adminstration where he was exposed to the inner workings of in-house counsel for the government as he assisted counsel in medical malpractices cases brought against the VA Hospital in Westwood, California. His second internship was with the Federal Trade Commission where he was exposed to legal issues regarding consumer complaints regarding fraud in business advertising. His final internship was in the real estate department of Moreland Development Company, the entity through which Unocal develops property it owns throughout the country. He was subsequently hired as a law clerk after the expiration of his internship. At Unocal, he learned gained a wealth of knowledge in real estate transactions and litigation.
Mr. Leonardo has been a member of numerous bar associations including the American Bar Association, the Los Angeles County Bar Association, the Malibu Bar Association, the San Fernando Valley Bar Association, the Litigation Section of the State Bar, and the Consumers Attorneys Association of Los Angeles.
Mr. Leonardo has been married for 12 years and has four children ages 4 through 10.

Marco Cosentino - of Counsel, show
Mr. Cosentino received his law degree from Pepperdine University, magna cum laude, in 1993, where he served as Articles Editor for the Pepperdine Law Review, and was awarded a Dean’s Merit Tuition scholarship all three years.
During law school, Mr. Cosentino completed two full time judicial externships, one with The Honorable Ed Rafeedie, U.S. District Court, and the other with The Honorable Alex Kozinski, U.S. Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit.
Mr. Cosentino began his legal career at Littler, Mendelsohn, a preeminent Labor and Employment law firm.
For the past several years, Mr. Cosentino has practiced law with Mark Leonardo, handling an array of employment, real estate, business and personal injury cases.
